Controversial actor,Ernest Obi was one of the actors that stormed the morgon investiture ceremony for Andrien Gbinigie on Sunday 24 February 2008.The tall and handsome actor did not come alone.He came with a young lady who identified herself as his fiancee.

When we approached her for a chat, she revealed her name as Miss Evi Oki, a graduate of Linguistics from Delta State University, Abraka.She also disclosed that she had been dating the actor for 5 years now. Moves to get her to talk about how she felt with the monumental scandal involving Ernest Obi met with a brick wall. "I don't want to talk about all that" she said

It should be recalled that few months back, the Nollywood gifted actor was accused by his wife, Joanne of taking undue sexual advantage of her 15 year old daughter (she happens to be Ernest Obi's step-daughter) while she (Joanne) was based abroad. So nasty was the accusation that alot of people asked the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) to expel him from the fold.

At the height of the allegations were various Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) putting together seminars to educate people on sexual abuse.
